The Safe Love Podcast
Real talk, clinical tools and faith for anyone who wants relationships that feel safe, whether you are single, dating, married or healing from something that hurt you.
With Dr. Shena Manning, LPC
Most people don't have a love problem. They have a safety problem.
After more than twenty years as a counselor, Shena kept having the same conversation in her office, at church and at her own kitchen table. People love each other, and most of them are committed. What they are missing is the kind of safety that lets you be truly known. Each week she takes something people really go through and explains it in plain words, so you can understand what is happening and know what to do next.

Five Signs You Need Therapy and Do Not Know It
The sentence Shena hears most in a first session is "I wish I had come sooner." Here is how to recognize you need support earlier.
My Spouse Will Not Go to Counseling. Now What?
Why spouses say no, what makes it worse, and what you can do instead while you wait.
